# File Extensions

On-disk, these wiki pages are stored with a `.md` extension because they are markdown.  Once could also store (perhaps via the git extension, [git-remote-dokuwiki](https://github.com/jvasile/git-remote-dokuwiki)) other types of files.  We have to allow-list those files, extension by extension.  If you get rejected on upload because of a disallowed media type, talk to James and he'll fix it.
